Service Description

InstaShineUp provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services in the Chicago, IL metropolitan area. Services include standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, and office cleaning.

Online Estimates

Prices shown on our website are estimates based on the information you provide (home size, cleaning type, add-ons, and frequency). Final pricing is confirmed after an in-person walkthrough or assessment, particularly for:

• First-time customers
• Deep cleaning services
• Move-in/move-out cleaning
• Homes or offices in conditions requiring extra time

Cancellation Policy

We require 24 hours' notice for all cancellations or rescheduling. If canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, a $50 late cancellation fee applies. If our team arrives and cannot access the property at the scheduled time, the same $50 lockout fee applies.

Extreme Condition Clause

If the home or office is in a condition that requires significantly more time than estimated (e.g., hoarding, extreme grime, biohazard conditions), we reserve the right to:

• Adjust the quoted price before beginning work
• Charge an hourly rate for additional time required
• Decline the job if conditions pose a safety risk to our team

Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not happy with any aspect of our cleaning:

• Notify us within 24 hours of the completed service
• We will return to re-clean the specific area at no additional charge
• Re-cleans are limited to the areas of concern, not the entire home
• No cash refunds are provided

Access & Entry

The customer must provide access to the property at the scheduled time. This can include:

• A door code or lockbox code
• A key left in a designated location
• Being present to let our team in

If we cannot enter the property at the scheduled time, the cancellation/lockout fee applies.

Safety & Limitations

For the safety of our cleaning team:

• We do not move heavy furniture (over 25 lbs)
• We do not climb ladders higher than 2 steps
• We do not clean biohazard materials, mold, or hazardous substances
• Pets should be secured in a safe area during cleaning

Recurring Service

Recurring cleaning subscriptions (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) can be canceled at any time with 24 hours' notice before the next scheduled cleaning. Recurring discounts apply only to active subscriptions and are not retroactive.

Liability

InstaShineUp is licensed and insured. In the unlikely event of damage to your property during cleaning:

• Report the damage within 24 hours
• We will assess and repair or replace the damaged item
• Our liability is limited to the replacement value of the item, up to $500
• Pre-existing damage or normal wear and tear is not covered

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments. For recurring customers, payment is charged automatically on the day of service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
